About The Event
YDC Summerfest is a full-day summer program for children ages 6-12 that blends fun, friendship, and hands-on learning in a safe and supportive enviroment. Hosted at The Youth Development Center in downtown Winchester, Summerfest is designed to keep kids engaged, curious, and confident all summer long through themed weeks, creative exploration, and meaningful connection.
Each week of Summerfest brings a new theme to life through interactive activities, group challenges, and special guest experiences. Campers will explore leadership and teamwork during Future Leaders Week, dive into creativity and confidence during Star Power Week, and get moving during Champion Week with games and sports-inspired activities. Gamer Galaxy Week and Game Zone Week tap into strategy, problem-solving, and collaboration, while Film Fun Week invites campers to explore storytelling, creativity, and behind-the-scenes magic.
