Join the YDC for Merry & Bright, a special holiday-themed art class pop-up where young artists will help inspire the official 2026 Festival of Trees ornament! Each participant's artwork will be shared with our Board of Directors to decide whose design will be the 2026 Festival of Trees ornament!

About The Event
Join the YDC for Merry & Bright, a festive art class pop-up designed to bring creativity and holiday magic together through the YDC Festival of Trees Ornament Workshop!
During this special hands-on experience, young artists will create original ornament designs inspired by the holidays, community traditions, winter memories, and the spirit of the YDC. Participants will experiment with color, texture, patterns, and seasonal themes while exploring how art can become part of a larger community celebration.
Artwork and creative inspiration from the workshop will help shape the official 2026 YDC Festival of Trees ornament, which will be featured during this year’s Festival of Trees celebration on Saturday, November 21. Once artwork is complete, designs will be shared with the YDC Board of Directors to vote on their favorite design!
