Designed for ages 7 - 12, each session invites kids to explore stories, spark their imagination, and connect with community leaders who inspire!

About The Event
ReadStart: Spotlight Stories is a monthly literacy and community engagement program designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of reading in children ages 7 to 12. Held on the third Saturday of each month, each session features a special guest reader ranging from local authors and drama students to firefighters, artists, and community leaders who bring stories to life through expressive reading and interactive discussion.
Families are invited to join us for this joyful, inclusive hour where books become bridges to creativity, connection, and community. Spotlight Stories encourages kids to explore new ideas, share their voices, and feel supported by the adults who inspire and serve Winchester.
